On Tuesday Mr Caldwell and Miss Pearce went on a course to learn all about forestry skills. On Friday they showed us what they learnt!!! Take a look at all the exciting things we got up to!!!
Miss Pearce and Mr Caldwell learnt how to use different types of wood when making fires, so we had to work as a team to collect lots of fire wood.
We found some really big trees which had been cut down. It took lots of us to carry the tree back to the block!!
We had to sort the wood collected into groups of string, pencils and fingers.
Mr Caldwell built a brilliant fire!!! It was really big.
We made sure we stayed behind the cones!!
We cooked hotdogs... They were really yummy!!!
Mr Caldwell boiled some water over the fire so that we could have some hot chocolate.

Miss Pearce then cooked us some popcorn, we watched it change from corn to popcorn!
Yum yum!!!
Miss Pearce made wood biscuits with us. We carefully used the saw together and made sure our fingers were out of way!!!
We are going to decorate them next week.
Selah and Serayia had great fun making daisy chains with Miss Co in the sunshine
