The children in Tigers and Zebras have been learning how to read. A lot of the children are now on the reading scheme and taking home a reading book every day.
Please read this book with your child and make sure they bring in their book bag every day. They are also bringing home a picture book twice a week which is for mums and dads to share and read to their child.
This week the children will also bring home a yellow reading diary which is for you to fill in after reading with your child.
We have very high expectations and want our Reception children to be reading level 6 books by the end of the year. We can only do this if we work together!
